Short Trip to Srimongal (2 days & 1 night)
price will be quoted as per your group size



Day 01: Leave Dhaka early morning by reserved car/coach for Srimongal. The distance is around 191 km and the journey takes five to six hours of time. On the way you will cross the Meghna River by ferry at Bhairab. Accommodation facilities at Srimongal are still limited and basic. Normally we arrange the accommodation at the Guest House of Bangladesh Tea Bord (PDU) or the Guest House of Heed Bangladesh. After lunch the accompanying guide will take you out to see the tea plantations and rubber gardens.
Day 02: During the morning hours of this day, you will visit the Lawacharra forest. With a bit of luck, you should be able to see some species of primates and a few rare birds. After taking lunch at your guesthouse or a local restaurant, you will drive back to Dhaka, arriving there in the evening.

After taking lunch at a local restaurant, the accompanying guide will take you out to see the tea plantations and rubber gardens.
Day 02: During the morning hours of the second day you will visit the Lawacharra Forest. With a bit of luck you should be able to see some species of primates and a few rare birds. You will also visit the Khashia and Tipra tribal villages, which are close. After lunch at your guesthouse you will visit a village of the Monipuri tribal people and a tea worker’s village. Back to the guesthouse in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03: After breakfast at your guesthouse, we shall take you to a beautiful lake, surrounded by a tea plantation and forest (if the condition of the road allows it). After an early lunch, you start the drive back to Dhaka, reaching Dhaka in the evening.

Trip to Srimongal & Sylhet (4 days & 3 nights)

On the way you will cross the Meghna River by ferry at Bhairab. Accommodation facilities available at Srimongal are still limited and basic. Normally we arrange your accommodation at the Guesthouse of Bangladesh Tea Research Institute or the Guesthouse of Heed Bangladesh. After lunch, the accompanying guide will take you out to see the tea plantations and rubber gardens.Day 02: During the morning hours you will visit the Lawacharra Forest and a tea plantation. After a late lunch, you will leave Srimongal and drive to Sylhet. You will reach Sylhet in the evening and check in hotel.Day 03: After an early breakfast, you will visit the Tamabil and Jaflong area in the north. These places are close to the Indian border, where a beautiful river flows from India to Bangladesh. There are also some water falls to see in these hills. The stone collecting activities on the bank of the river are interesting to watch. There is also the possibility of visiting a Khasia tribal family in this area. As there is no good eating place nearby, we shall provide packet lunch on this day. In the afternoon you will drive back to the hotel in Sylhet for the overnight stay.Day 04: After breakfast you can visit the holy shrine of a Muslim saint and also a nearby tea plantation. Return to the hotel for lunch. after lunch, drive back to Dhaka.
